Miroslava Coromoto Rondón de Bowen, 35, was killed Friday night in the Luis Hurtado Higuera neighborhood of San Felix. At approximately 8:00 she left her house - located on Antonio Plaz Street - and together with a friend, went to his family's empanadas stand, on Andrés Eloy Blanco Street in the same sector.

Alleged to the lady - who left 4 children of 17, 13, 11 and 7 years old - explained that after conversing, she got on the motorcycle of the friend identified as Angel Zambrano, 28, and they would continue on their way.

They had not shot 100 meters, when Zambrano and Rondón - who was on a barbecue - ran into three men who told them to stop, however “they ignored them and continued, it was there when they were shot,” said one close to the victim

After firing a shotgun, the assassins ran until they disappeared and assumed they embarked on a car; while the motorcyclist and the lady fell to the ground. The woman was killed at the site in the middle of a huge pool of blood, as one of the bullets destroyed part of her face. Her companion had pellet wounds in the right part of the body, his left arm was fractured with the strong blow.

The investigations

Relatives of the deceased have two hypotheses in mind. Some claim that the gunmen were possibly thieves who tried to steal the motorcycle where the two victims were, while others have not hesitated to blame Rondón's husband and assume that he hired hitmen to end it.

This last hypothesis, possibly, is the one that acquires more strength in the investigations, taking into account that once the crime of the woman was completed, the murderers fled and stole absolutely nothing.

Zoraida Rondón, one of Miroslava Coromoto's aunts, explained that it was possibly a robbery, because "the men told her to stop and as they did not know them, they continued," he argued.

César Rondón declared in front of the headquarters of the Cicpc that his niece “was married to a gringo for the last six years and was in the process of divorce. She came to her house and, since then, was receiving threats,” he said.

According to Rondón, her friend received calls even from her husband's lawyers from Margarita Island, where she lived with him until only a few months ago.

“There were lawsuits because a lot of money was being fought. He has companies, businesses and that should be shared after the divorce, ”said Rondón, who also asked for a thorough investigation of the case.

Because of the way the events happened, some close friends of occisa assume that the murderers were hit men who were waiting for the right moment to end it. “They were riding two motorcycles and my niece had no problems, the other boys either. There is no other explanation, ”he said.

The inquiries

Allegories of Miroslava Rondón and people who became witnesses of the crime, already declared at the headquarters of the Cicpc on Saturday morning. Here they offered details that will serve in the investigations, such as the identity of the deceased's husband, whom they suspect.

The Prosecutor's Office 15 of the Public Prosecutor's Office is responsible for the investigations and has already ordered several proceedings that are executed by the Cicpc Anti-Homicide Brigade.

31 people have already died violently in Caroní during the days since February. Three of the victims have been women, including two homeless in Puerto Ordaz.

Después de accionar una escopeta, los asesinos corrieron hasta desaparecer y suponen que se embarcaron en un carro; mientras que el motociclista y la dama caían al suelo. La mujer quedó muerta en el sitio en medio de un enorme charco de sangre, pues uno de los balazos destrozó parte de su cara. Su acompañante presentó heridas de perdigones en la parte derecha del cuerpo, se fracturó el brazo izquierdo con el fuerte golpe.

Las investigaciones
Familiares de la fallecida tienen dos hipótesis en mente. Algunos aseguran que los pistoleros posiblemente fueran ladrones que pretendían robar la moto donde andaban las dos víctimas, mientras que otros no han dudado en culpar al esposo de Rondón y suponen que contrató sicarios para que acabaran con ella.

Esta última hipótesis, posiblemente, es la que cobra más fuerza en las investigaciones, tomando en cuenta que una vez concretado el crimen de la mujer, los homicidas huyeron y no robaron absolutamente nada.

Zoraida Rondón, una de las tías de Miroslava Coromoto, explicó que posiblemente se trató de un robo, debido a que “los hombres le dijeron que se pararan y como ellos no los conocían, siguieron”, argumentó.

César Rondón declaró frente a la sede del Cicpc que su sobrina “estuvo casada con un gringo por los últimos seis años y estaban en proceso de divorcio. Ella se vino para su casa y, desde entonces, estaba recibiendo amenazas”, apuntó.

Según Rondón, su allegada recibió llamadas hasta de los abogados de su esposo desde la Isla de Margarita, donde vivió con él hasta hace sólo unos meses.

“Había demandas porque se estaba peleando mucho dinero. Él tiene empresas, negocios y eso debía compartirse después del divorcio”, aseguró Rondón, quien además pidió que se investigara el caso a fondo.

Por la manera como sucedieron los hechos, algunos allegados de occisa suponen que los asesinos eran sicarios que estaban esperando el momento oportuno para acabar con ella.

“Ellos andaban en dos motos y mi sobrina no tenía problemas, los otros muchachos tampoco. No hay otra explicación”, aseguró.

Las pesquisas

Allegados de Miroslava Rondón y personas que se convirtieron en testigos del crimen, ya declararon en la sede del Cicpc durante la mañana del sábado. Aquí ofrecieron detalles que servirán en las investigaciones, como la identidad del esposo de la fallecida, de quien sospechan.

La Fiscalía 15 del Ministerio Público es la encargada de las investigaciones y ya ordenó varias diligencias que son ejecutadas por la Brigada Contra Homicidios del Cicpc.

31 personas ya han muerto de manera violenta en Caroní durante los días transcurridos de febrero. Tres de las víctimas han sido mujeres, entre ellas, dos indigentes de Puerto Ordaz.

Adult vacations are getting more popular. The only thing is, all these big companies who are advertising on the internet are proving vacations for adults, as in a Man and his wife going away on a vacation without kids and not our type of adult vacation, where we provide a girlfriend experience. Talking about adult vacations, it seems my old mate Alexis, the Greek thief from AAV is starting to operate again. God help us all. TAV down the road have meal issues, they don’t have a kitchen and use a place called the Da Nancy next door, where rumours abound about bad food, bad guts, bad everything with the sound of it. I just love it when it all comes together. Had a couple of guests this month taking a adult vacation with us and the food reports from Boca Chica where they were 2 months ago wasn’t good. I always said it was a fucking shit hole. Wait till the ugly man Hugerection get’s there, that will scare the fuckers away, cockroaches and all.

The UK has officialy had summer today, well the Sun peeped it’s head out for a few hours, which after the rain and wind has made a nice change. Nice weather for the football, though the performance at Leeds didn’t match the weather i’m afraid. In fact to be honest it was pure crap.
