Deposit
The deposit when required is best paid by MoneyGram. Normally the deposit is $300US or $10,000RD whichever is less. In any case the folio reflects the deposit as $300US.
The recipient of the deposit is
my manager Juan D. de los Santos Pérez. The Banco Popular is a MoneyGram agent. Juan is well known at our branch so we tend to have few problems.
You can find a brick and mortar MoneyGram agent or you can do the transaction online.

http://www.moneygram.com/index.htm You can use the web site for the transfer or to locate an agent. The cheapest way to for the transfer to arrive in Pesos and the transaction fee is $10US.
I do not use Western Union because they have become very cumbersome and have caused many problems for guests.
